About Me
MY CURRENT MISSION:
Life is about finding happiness - and I love finding that happiness in moments spent with wonderful people.
I hope to meet loving people and to build long lasting relationships through a genuine exchange and connection.
ABOUT ME:
I just recently graduated from the University of Connecticut where I studied Industrial Engineering! After 5 good years I'm excited to start the next chapter of my life.
I now have a year to travel and meet new people before I start my job in in the USA!
I am currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina to learn and practice Spanish. I love the language and all the countries and cultures connected to it. My hope is to immerse myself into the language, the culture, the food, and the people. I am so excited to be here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING:
Nothing makes me feel more alive than connecting with new people in new places.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
I'm not available to host anyone right now but I am always willing to meet up with people. Now while I am traveling through South America I hope to stay with and/or meet new friends who are excited to share their city with me!
MY COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
I have met so many incredible people since using Couchsurfing. I have hosted people back home in the USA as well as stayed with people in new places. It has had such a positive impact on my life and I am grateful we are alive during this technological time where we can connect so easily with so many cool people.
Interests
I am an avid Swing and Blues dancer. I started a few years ago and realized it was the missing part of my life I didn't even know was absent! I love sharing such special songs and moments with people. It's amazing. Sometimes I think you can learn more about someone in 3-4 minutes of dancing than you can through conversation in the same amount of time. It's absolutely beautiful and I would be so happy to share it with anyone interested. :)
Aside from dance I consider myself to be in a pretty serious relationship with food... I love to cook, explore new restaurants, try new foods, and of course eat. Mmmmmm. Food. Yes. More.
I also like photography, singing in the shower, laying on the beach, drinking wine, hiking, running, swimming, the great outdoors, and really anything active!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love dance so much that I decided to start a Swing and Blues Dancing Organization at my University where there previously wasn't one! What started as me teaching 10 students at a time in the basement of the math building grew into hundreds of students dancing in ballrooms to live bands I hired from across the USA. We organized classes, and dances, and workshops with coaches from around the world. What started as me sharing a passion with a few friends grew into a lively community that still lives on today!
It means so much to me to have built a space that has brought so many people together and brought so much happiness into people's lives. I grew and learned so much from this experience that it has truly shaped me into the person I am today. I am so grateful. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about other people's lives and experiences they have had. Life can take so many different paths and I appreciate the variety I see in the people around me.
With that said, I would be happy to share stories, to teach dance, to practice English/Spanish, or simply share some food or drink with some nice conversation. I'm pretty easy going.
