Overview
About Me
I am a fun loving person, I like to experience new things and meet new people. When I first meet new people I am quite shy, but that quickly fades as I get to know them better. I grew up in a small town in Northern New York, at the age of 21 I got adventurous and moved to Minnesota, a few years after that I moved to Georgia and after living there for two years I returned home. I have a love for learning, particularly about languages, culture and science. I live a very busy life, working two jobs and I am also in the middle of completing my bachelor’s degree. When I do have free time I enjoy movies, video games, bowling, reading, concerts, and spending time with friends. I am terrible at writing these things; I never know what to say, so if there is anything you would like to know about me please ask.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I enjoy traveling; though I have not done much international traveling, I am really interested in planning some trips and visiting new places.
Interests
I enjoy music, mostly classic rock but I also listen to some metal and a little bit of country. I like going to concerts, the last concert I went to was Brantley Gilbert last summer. I also enjoy some video games, World of Warcraft mostly, but I don't get much time to play with my busy schedule. I like to watch movies too, some of my favorite genres are horror, comedy, fantasy and science fiction. I am also a bit of a nerd and like to watch documentaries from time to time as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite type of music is classic rock, so anything by Metallica, Led Zeppelin, The Guess Who, Tom Petty, or Pink Floyd. I have a few favorite movies: Avatar, Sweet Home Alabama, Leap Year, and Waiting. I don't really have any favorite books, most of my reading is done for school, so I would have to say the books I enjoyed the most were from my language classes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't feel that anything I have done is overly amazing, I am an average person not a saint. One thing I am proud of though is completing college as an adult student because it has been a significant challenge trying to balance everything.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share the beauty of my hometown and how much fun we have here in the north country: four-wheeling, snowmobiling, family BBQ's, fishing, bonfires and camping adventures. Unfortunately at the moment I am living with family so I am unable to host a guest, but I intend to change that after I graduate next year and move into my own place.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would like to make new friends who are spontaneous, that I can share my sense of adventure with and share the thrill of seeking out new experiences.
