ABOUT ME

There is so much to say about me but when I'm due to say something about me it is alway the same: I dont know interesting things to say.

Ok, I just start with the basics about me.
My name is Alisha, I'm a 25 year-old girl living, working, laughing and loving in beautiful Hamburg.
Originally I was born in a small village in Schleswig Holstein named Bordesholm. It is located even norther than Hamburg near by Kiel directly at the coast of the Baltic sea.

So and now the hardest part... describing myself...
I would say I am quite an open-minded and hearty person who is always curious about making new experiences, getting to know interesting people and all in all broaden my horizon a bit.

And I should mention that I'm a bit crazy from time to time which may include a fit of laughter or spontaneous ideas which have to be put into action immediately or at least as fast as possible. ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me Couchsurfing is not about having a place to sleep somewhere but more about meeting new interesting people and with that discover a place from its heart.

I would be pleased to show you one of the most beautiful cities in Germany if you come and visit me in Hamburg. Unfortunately I don't have a seperate couch at the moment. But nevertheless I would receive you cordially and show you some of the places which are the reason why I fell in love Hamburg.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This community is one of the best things that I ever discovered!! I'll never forget my first CS-trip to New York City which was one of the greatest experiences I ever made in my life!! I found true friends with this community which I will never ever miss again in my life!!

Oh god I'm interested in soo many things so where to start?!

Of course I start with propbably the common answer. I love travelling and see new places in this whole wide world. But what are the places without the people living there - nothing!
So I love to make new acquaintances and learn about how other people live their life and what they have experienced so far.
Of course I have also some more interests. I love for example watching good movies especially if I watch them with a bunch of friends.
And I love dancing to nearly every kind of music also espially when I can do this with people I enjoy. But also great ist if you dance just for your own when nobody is watching just because life is so beautiful!! Have it a try...

Another hobby of mine that I've discovered just recently is cooking. I enjoy to experiment with different things but that contains the risk that some things might be uneatable.
But as I always say: no rik, no fun ;-)

As I've just said I love good movies. At the moment I love to watch old movies that I've watched as I was a little child. So for example the classic Diney-movies like "The Lion King", "Alice in Wonderland" or "The hunchback of Notre Dame". But I also favor many other kind of movies like for example French movies like especially "Le fabouleux destin d'Amélie Poulain", "Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran", "Paris je t'aime" or "La vie en rose".
I am also a huge fan of the work of Tim Burton. Most of all I love "Big fish" because it portrays such a beautiful dream world.
A propos dream world I was completely fascinated by "The lord of the rings". I've read every book which is somehow related to Tolkien and his work and I've of course seen the movies by Peter Jackson (One of the reasons why I definitely have to visit New Zealand ;-)).
I could go on enumerating movies I love but that would go beyond the scoop I think.
My taste of music is actually as diverse as my spectrum of favoured movies.
Just to mention a few genres: I like French music a lot, Dancehall Reggae

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've seen many different amazing places that are so unique in their way of being fantastic and I've met so many gorgeous people that it's hard to pick out a few.
I'll try it anyway:
My first couchsurfing experience in the city of my dreams New York. But it was not (only) the city that took my breath but my hosts, Whit and Tim, who welcomed me with such a warmness that I sat on their roof top and started to cry looking down on midtown Manhatten. I guess I don't have to mention that we are still close friends and that it was not my last time in NYC.
A second moment I'll carry in my heart forever was swimming with dolphins in Mexico.
And to pick a third out of thousands: Infront of my inner eye I can still see myself standing at the bank of a gorgeous mountain lake in Cuba ready to jump in the icecold water after hiking up there.
