I'm a full-time psychology student. I grew up in Albany, Rochester, and Syracuse NY before finally settling in Houston nearly a decade ago. I spend most of my time reading about current events, research, and theory. I like to explore the States when my schedule/budget permits, and enjoy getting to know locals along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people whenever I'm out of town. I think hosts can be an invaluable resource in making the most of my stay. I also like the hospitality of this community and would like to pay it forward.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Happened to be in LA after the election and got to see a protest down by City Hall. Coming from a relatively conservative state, it was a unique experience seeing how many people felt so passionately against Trump. I was staying downtown and saw a live broadcast before deciding to check it out myself, and it felt neat observing a part of history.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share life experiences and hear about what others are going through. I value equanimity and I think suspending judgement is the best way to learn about the world. I'm inquisitive in nature and enjoy learning about people's passions. Please don't hesitate to show off the things you care about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm training to become a therapist, so I'd be happy to lend an ear to anyone that could use some support (and of course, keep it confidential). I can also assist with errands, upkeep, pet and child care as needed.
