About Me
(Joint profile for myself and my husband) Para información en español enviarnos un mensaje por favor.
I am English but living and working in Italy as an English teacher. I love travelling and meeting like-minded people. I am pretty relaxed and easy going. My husband is from Argentina and also enjoys travelling etc. We met when we were both travelling in Ecuador, lived in the UK for a bit, lived apart for a bit, settled in Italy together. I am vegetarian and like to cook vegan meals when possible - though meat eaters are more than welcome.
We like playing 'opposite language karaoke' at home on a weekend and we will definitely treat you to that. It really is such a treat.
For now we live just outside of Milan. We are both learning Italian - with varying levels. We have a spare room with a double (inflatable) bed and we also have a sofa upstairs. Children welcome (I have worked with children from the age of 1 for over 8 years now).
The train station is just five minutes walk away and there are about 4 trains an hour to Milan and 2 an hour to Bergamo. Milan is €3.60 each way and Bergamo is €2.90 each way.
If you would like to come stay with us please send us a message with a little info about yourself and what you would like to do in Italy. Please also include specific dates. I'm sorry but we cannot accept any requests for more than a month in the future as we don't know where we will be so please only send requests for the coming month.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In all honesty.... I just bought a Harry Potter board game and I need people to play with me! But I also like meeting people from different places and learning about their cultures. I also like to offer a free place to stay as I know travelling can be expensive. And I hope to have the favour returned by couchsurfers around the world when I have the time to travel.
