Hi there. This is Alison. I was born and grew up in China. I spent 5 and half years in the UK to study and work. In 2006, life brought me to Singapore and have lived here ever since.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past, I have only travelled in one particular way, which was to escape from the full time corporate world I was in. Booking myself in nice hotels, packed my itineraries with sightseeing, one attraction after another, trying the food that recommended by popular travel websites etc... so that I get the whole experience and get myself ready to go back to the job I was in.

Since I'm no longer a full time corporate slave, all of the things I have said above might be still valid but most importantly I'd like to meet you!!! Yes, people from all parts of the world to exchange stories, culture and jokes. As Yoda said "You must unlearn what you have learnt...." And I'm starting it end of this June, hoping to meet you to help me to unlearn some of the things I have learnt, to learn new things, new culture, new possible ways of living...
