About Me
I'm a University Student in Wisconsin, USA. I study the French Language and Teaching English as a Second Language. I enjoy learning other languages and learning about new cultures, so I hope to travel a lot in my lifetime. But right now, I work in a library and at a café trying to make enough money to go out into the world! In my free time I like to read, cook, watch cooking shows/documentaries, and go for walks/runs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm planning a trip to Europe with my best friend. We are going to do this after we graduate - as a treat to ourselves before starting jobs/ the job hunt. We have many things on our "wish list" to see, but would like to interact with locals, learn more about them, and get recommendations on what to do in any city. We're very friendly and are looking to have a unique adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I went out of the country, I went to France to be an 'au pair.' I made plans with a family over a free au pair website without any verification/screening. We had only exchanged emails and photos while battling with a bit of a language barrier. The moral of the story is, I relied on some people that I met on the internet to pick me up at an airport during my first trip in a foreign country - and I think that is a little brave... and a lot reckless.
