About Me
IG @alrnino
Hi, I'm a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, living in Paris for a decade now.
I have a master degree in technical translation at ESIT-Sorbonne and I am here mostly for improving my English which is my third language after the French (actually I'm also a French language teacher :)
My home is in Montreuil, a very dynamic and vibrant city on the eastern edge of Paris, known for its cultural diversity, artistic scene and communist heritage.
Since I have a one-room apartment (34m2 including the balcony and toilets) where I work remotely twice a week, I prefer having guests over weekends. My home is 10 min walk from the Parisian metro station (La Dhuys, line 11), and is also served by several buses heading downtown (121, 122, 202) and/or Paris (102).
Visitors can explore numerous galleries and traditional festivals (like the famous Mûr à Pêches, “Peach Wall”), stroll around the beautiful parks nearby (Montreau, Beaumont), enjoy a pint of beer at Le Jardin de Louisette or at Velove, or go for a cultural moment moment at Le Méliès cinema, which serves as a gathering place for film enthusiasts and a symbol of Montreuil's commitment to the arts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had actually used Couchsurfing between 2015-2017, but I lost my previous account (which had several references).
Here to build new connections and exchange with people of different walks of life ^^
