Hello! We are Ali and Pierre. We left Europe in July 2022 for a new adventure with a year in New Zealand! Ali left her career as a fashion buyer in Germany. Pierre was working as project manager arranging work placements for French chefs and hospitality professionals across the UK and Ireland. We started our journey in Bangkok then travelled through Thailand and Malaysia before arriving in New Zealand where in the end we spent 18 months. Now we are slowly backpacking our way back to Europe and embracing every experience along the way. We're a sociable couple and open minded to new opportunities to learn.

Outside of work Ali likes to keep active by playing squash. Pierre likes running and has a passion for food and wine. Together, we enjoy hiking, dining out and playing board games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like to meet other people to socialise and learn from. Ali had a great experience in Australia using Couchsurfing as both a surfer and a host so now we would like to do the same elsewhere in the world.
