Overview
About Me
I’ve been traveling ever since I was a tiny bean, with my family and as I got older, friends and people I love. My life has changed SO much over the past few years and I had lost my sense of adventure and subsequently, my sense of self. After some BIG changes and soul searching I’m ready to reclaim it, and get back into what I love - seeing the world and the people in it.
My brother turned me on to this app/site and he’s used it to travel all over Asia so I thought I’d try it too.
It sounds so trite, but I truly love learning about people who come from different walks of life. I want to know everything about people I meet right away (I can’t help it!) and I think making new friends is my love language.
There’s so much life to live, fun to be had, and things to learn - basically, we need more time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’d love to meet other people like me, and get back into traveling and adventuring as Covid-19 becomes more manageable (praying!) and in the meantime, just get back to what I love - people, stories, adventure, fun and seeing where life takes me. 😊

Music, Movies, and Books
I could watch movies at any time, and day! A few faves: The Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, Life of Pi, American Beauty, Double Indemnity, Citizen Kane, Funny Face... the list doesn’t ever stop...
Love a good nerdy documentary or docuseries. I go down the rabbit hole, a lot. If you’re into trashy reality tv too, I can hang. We got this.
I’ve never met a music genre that I don’t like. 😉
The Knocks, Starship, Dolly Parton, Leon Bridges, DMB, U2, Sex Pistols, Garbage, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Lady A, DJ Rap, Biggie, Pac, Jay, Missy.. I mean, even Kool Keith holds a special place 😆
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’m a true survivor. There are so many details and I’m an open book. Know this: If you can thrive and become a better version of yourself through all that life throws at you - you can do anything. Trust me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Spaghetti a la tono; the secret is anchovies and lots of red pepper.
Lasagna is overrated.
Sunsets are just as gorgeous as sunrises and the ocean will talk to you if you listen hard enough. Camping in the yard with a simple tent is magic, and my daughter will paint your nails like a pro if you’re into it. 😂
I’ll share my gummy bears with you and we can play Twister or Battleship until it’s time to go home.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, art, music, food, great conversation, laughs, stupid dad jokes, my two dogs!
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, England, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Jersey, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Virgin Islands, British, Wales
