I like good books and bad jokes.

I also like showing people around Basel because it always makes me realize that it's actually quite a cute town I live in.

Oh and I like people. But I guess that's what couchsurfing users generally do. I just thought I should mention it before we meet, as I'm a rather quiet person.

As my living location in Basel changes quite a lot at the moment I'm not sure if I can host you– but definitely ask, and we'll see!

And I'd be up for a coffee or a walk around town anytime! :)

Also I'd love to meet couchsurfers wherever I travel to and experience their cities through their eyes.

So far I've couchsurfed in Brugge and in Berlin as well as Edinburgh and Ramallah. All wonderful experiences. Hoping for many more.

Movies: This is England, Night on earth, Everything is illuminated, Into the wildMusic: Lots and lots and lots. I'm not going to list it all up. Right now, "Money" by Pink Floyd is doodling in the background.
Oh and Mumford and Sons, as well as Liz Green will always hold a special place in my heart.

Also, I have re-read Lord of the Rings quite often.

Meet a prophet in the middle of the night on New Years eve. He emerged out of the myst and told me and my friend that the following year (2011) was going to be the year of truth. Can't say if that's true, but the moment was still magical.

I can..show you Basel! The main attractions as well as some cosy hiding places :)...and I can teach you how to dance your name. And play some songs on the ukulele. I can teach you some Swiss german too, it's always handy to know some. As for learning...well basically I'd like to learn about anything you're passionate about. If it fascinates you it'll fascinate me.

Also I have quite the obsession with languages, so I'd be happy to learn basically anything about yours!
