About Me

I am a firm believer in the crazy little things that happen that make you think, nice one life, way to go! Having grown up in a family of story tellers about their travelling days, it was hard to imagine not following in their footsteps. Since my first big adventure around Europe in 2010 my passion for travel has taken me to all over the world and I don't want it to stop there! When I'm not having adventures, Scotland is home- my one true home and a country I will never get sick of travelling and exploring. My perfect day of travel would consist of local food, local people, exploring and gathering new experiences, all washed down with a cold beer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a solo traveller and a huge people person, I crave the wonder and excitement of meeting new people and hearing the stories they have to tell.

Interests

Leading a fit and healthy life full of adventure! I love keeping fit and playing sports; waterpolo, running, swimming and hiking to name a few, if I end up with a face the colour of a tomato it's a win for me! I am a keen scuba diver, having dived all over the world, I've recently turned this hobby into work, having completed my divemaster and instructor training.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving with Whale Sharks; Watching the sun rise on the highest peak in Central America;Surfing in the sunset; Dancing till the sun comes up in Nicaragua; Road tripping down the West Coast of America; Buying a dodgey van in Canada; Meeting an Aussie on a greyhound and becoming best traveller friends; Meeting traveller friends in more than 2 continents; Learning Spanish in Guatemala; Living on a desert island in Panama; Dancing in an empty Times Square in New York; Waiting out a tornado in Chicago; Interailing through Europe; Au-Pairing for 3 crazy kids in Vienna; Running a half-marathon in my hometown; Skydiving in my Aussie home of Coffs Harbour;
