ABOUT ME

i grew up in down town toronto, but i moved to the east coast cuz its better out there where its foggy and the weather tries to stop you but you never let it. theres always something on the go and i like to be in the thick of it. i like to hitch rides from strangers, learn what they have to offer and share what i have. making things from what others discard. music is great but i have a twisty relationship with making it, so i carry a ukulele and dont play it. although i claim ill try to soon. ill wander till im exhausted, then take a nap and start all over again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm travelin now, but im super pumped to open my house to other travelin folks as soon as im home! theres a couch, floor, table or deck to sleep on. or woods to be tented in. if i really can't host im always open to show the way to a house that can or to a great cup of joe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

accidental, till now. im goin official folks! i've lived with folks for weeks on end when they picked me up hitching. ive spent the night in cities i didn't plan to cuz i was offered a couch from a ride when they missed an exit and it started raining or got to dark.

Interests

breakfast. making things. hurling myself down mountains and hills, then going back up them again. vagabonding around and sleeping in strange places. seeing the world from the bottom to the top. thunderstorms. old photographs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

steering an 18 wheeler flying down dirt back roads to antimony mines. skippering across lake ontario in the blazing sun with a collection of fellow vagabond romantics. drifting on the ocean, contentedly exhausted from a day of trial by fire surfing as the full moon rises behind me. a living room with friends perched on every surface talking, musing, strumming, calm, happy and well fed.
