About Me

CURRENT MISSION

No rush to meet the future, living life in the present!

ABOUT ME

I am super energetic and enthusiastic about making the most out of my travelling experiences! Of course I like meeting new people and learning about new places, otherwise I would not be interested couch surfing! My favorite things include the ocean, ice cream, coffee, and dogs. I love being active, but I am also always up for relaxing with good company. I am travelling in Spain and England this summer with some of my best friends and my boyfriend Ben. We are excited to explore this part of the world and meet some awesome people!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to push my limits, and feel most satisfied with myself when I accomplish something I thought I couldn't do. I hope to never stop travelling and learning about new people because that feeling of discovery just can't be beat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By embracing the overall experience of couch surfers. The connections fostered by couch surfers can only occur when both parties reach out, which is what makes the experience so cool. I’m willing and excited to exchange stories and perspectives with everybody I meet and hopefully form some long lasting friendships along the way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This will be my first trip involving the couchsurfing network! I am looking forward to meeting many new people on this adventure!

Interests

I love to be active and outdoors. Soccer is my favorite sport, I am always more than happy to kick a ball around with some friends or play in a friendly scrimmage. I have a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and love learning about anything related to health science! I really enjoy good food, especially dessert (I devour anything with chocolate in, on, or near it).

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE to read. Two of my all time favorite books are East of Eden by John Steinbeck and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. I like music, but have a large, unspecific, varying range of tastes. I’m not picky, I like anything that puts me in a good mood, and of course, anything that you can dance to! Movies are cool, but not something I pay all that much attention to. I would much rather read a book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Followed the path of Alexander the Great through Greece and into Turkey, stopping at many significant landmarks.
-Climbed to the top of the Sun and the Moon pyramids in Teotihuacan, Mexico.
-Swam with wild stingrays in New Zealand. Scary!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know lots about bacteria and other things that can make you sick!
Someday I would like to learn how to sail and how to fish. Anything to get out on the ocean!
