Music, Movies, and Books
I'll listen to almost anything and give it a shot, and I can listen to Josh Ritter all the time. Most recent books read were And the Mountains Echoed (Khalid Hosseini) and Americanah (Chimimanda Ngozi Adiche), both of which I devoured.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I simply thought I would be attending a rally for the International Day of the Girl in Strasbourg, France, where I was teaching English. However, my friends and I were somehow tapped to lead the parade wearing boxing gloves and sparring according to the orders of a French woman named Yvette. The most amazing thing I've seen? Nope, but it was definitely one of the most unexpected experiences of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always down for learning new languages, especially bits of ones in the countries that I am visiting. I'm happy to share my English, French, or Creole skills with anyone!
