CURRENT MISSION

I had an opportunity to jump on a plane and fly to Europe to live for a few months and want to take advantage of these moments. My mission is short and simple. Travel. Travel until I'm either too tired to continue or I go broke. Go big or go home right??

ABOUT ME

Goofy, outgoing, and laidback! Although change can be scary I try to encourage myself to step out of my box in order to experience new things! After graduating in May, I had no idea what the heck I wanted to do in life. I mean I still don't. What I do know is that I want to see the world and experience all that I can before I journey back to the states and have to face real life and adulthood. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing how they live life.

PHILOSOPHY

"Not giving a f**k isn't about not giving a f**k. It's about fully embracing our natural ability to effortlessly weather any amount of suffering, loss, or change. In essence, it's about pleasantly floating while the whole world frantically swims. And if your good, you can teach others to float right along with you."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I currently have no couch surfing experience but was recommended to try it by my older sister who traveled throughout Europe this way and loved it. It would be great to see what it is all about!

I enjoy traveling (obviously) and reading. I also enjoy sports. I played water polo for 8 years and swam for about 19 years. I am a big fan of water! But I also just love playing sports in general. I mean I am not very good at most of them but I try. I enjoy hiking and watching movies (not at the same time..).

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am not very picky when it comes to music. I am usually one of those people who never hears new music until its a big hit on the radio so I love being introduced to new music no matter what kind.

I love to read and have a whole colleciton in my room so I cannot name all the ones I have read but some of my favorite include Ender's Game, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, The Giver, and The Stand. I've recently become a big fan of Stephen King's novel and have IT on audible that I can listen to when traveling. It's a crazy awesome read and I recommend it.

I grew up watching movies with my mom so I have seen many! Some of the good ones for me are Step Brothers, Star Wars, Dirty Dancing, The Sandlot, Office Space, and Disturbia. These are just the ones I could think of, but there are a ton more that I enjoy and, like my music thing, I enjoy being introduced to new ones.

There are many things that I have done in life that I think are amazing. Some are:
-Visiting Krka National Park and Plitvice National Park in Croatia
-Studying abroad
-Buying a ticket out of the US to Europe with no plan and no idea where I am going or for how long
-Oktoberfest and Canstatter Weisen
-Swam in the emerald lake behind Vernal Falls in Yosemite
-Visited the beaches of Normandy

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Teach: I can teach you all about the life of Americans! or how to cook eggs! which ever you need to know about! But really though. I would be happy to share my experiences with you whether it be my travel experiences, my life in California, or my experience as a collegiate athlete.

Learn: I want to learn about your life and your country. I know I have a lot to learn about and I want to gain knowledge by meeting you and seeing what its like in another person's shoes!

Share: Like teaching, I would like to share who I am as a person and all that I've done thus far in life.
