ABOUT ME

Hmm, this is always difficult!
I'm from near Leeds (its oop north) and I trained as an occupational therapist. I have been pretty nomadic for the last 3 years which is how I am enjoying living my life at the moment.

I guess I'm a pretty laidback person who hates writing about herself in boxes! You'd most likely find me trying to go in the opposite direction of most tourists when I'm travelling. You'd also find me very happy in the countryside, especially in mountains and forests, or in the sea. On the other hand I am very happy to drink a coffee, knit and eat cake in the city with my friends.

I also like to have fun and love good music and dancing, especially at festivals,fields or abandoned warehouses!

I would say I'm pretty adventurous and curious and I love being creative.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to couchsurfing and so haven't really participated much yet, but I love the concept and when I have the opportunity I would love to offer my couch to like minded travellers. I believe in the law of 'pay-it-forward' and believe that if I help others when they need it, eventually someone will help me, probably when I need it most.

Interests

I am a lover of herbal tea, permaculture, self-sufficient living, yurts, festivals, poi spinning, playing the violin and viola (especially folk and gypsy music!!), eating brownies, doing adventurous sports such as kitesurfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, good coffee,finding things in charity shops, being outdoors,cooking (and eating!), mojitos, learning traditional skills, camping, going to new places, meeting new people, knitting, photography, making things, growing things in the garden, dancing, mushrooms, sun and having interesting conversations.
