COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few, awesome experiences of both surfing and hosting.
Before encountering Couchsurfing, I travelled and hosted extensively with the international World-Peace-through-Personal-Hosting organization, SERVAS. In fact my dad was a host when I was growing up, and as a child I had lullabies sung to me in many different languages!

Interessen

I am interested and curious about almost everything. Love expanding my mind through travel and meeting people with different life experiences. There is a sense of powerful expansiveness I feel each time that I remember that my worldview is entirely relative. I love making personal connections and discovering the ways each individual is fascinating, carrying their own unique spark of life.
i love to dance, play, be outside, learn new things. Healing arts, all forms of spirituality, and ecology are my biggest interests.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Giving an impromtu lesson in Solar System 101 through translation to a Tibetan high Lama in the Mount Everest Region, after he sheepishly asked me for an explanation of why the moon waxes and wanes.

Making it back to Kathmandu as a stowaway in a cargo plane from Lukla, the highest airport in the world, after having had my wallet stolen. After having just explained the solar system to the Lama.

Riding across Ireland with the Superheroes, an eclectic group of do-gooders who travel on bicycles with no destination, performing spontaneous good deeds and random acts of kindness. An amazing way to connect right in to the hearts and lives of all we meet along the way.
