About Me
Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.- John Muir
My name is Alissa! I am 23 and currently living in Bloomington, Indiana. My husband, Justin is usually my travel partner for all of my trips! We have been together since we were 15 years old, and he shares the same adventurous soul. We have such a passion for travel, so we try to get out and about as much as possible.
I am a pretty relaxed person and love getting to know new people. I come from a small town, which I was never able to leave much growing up. Once I was able to get out on my own, I discovered my passion for travel and helping others, and that has led me to blossom and grow more than I could have ever imagined. I just recently took a trip to San Miguel, Guatemala where I was able to live in the homes of rural coffee farmers and learn how to harvest coffee with them!
I am an outdoor fanatic. I love backpacking, climbing, studying wildflowers and animals! I also love music and playing instruments. Between my husband and I, we play acoustic and electric guitar, a little ukulele, mandolin, bass guitar, piano, cello, and violin!
