About Me

I do love to interact with people that have a strong cultural and world exploring mindset, open-minded and full of Energy. I have been travelling to several countries, and basically staying in my friends' place. I decided to give a go for Couchsurfing and broaden my international experience.

I love travelling. I am also learning new languages. We can talk in English, Portuguese or Spanish (actually learning).

I see myself as a quite sapiosexual guy. I'm into meditation and willing to learn more. I see life by using 1st principals. I really appreciate people's soft and artistic skills, and boldness.

I love a good wine, craft beer, coffee, science and Space Exploration, long walks, uplifting conversations and intercultural exchange.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Explore the world, meet new and interesting people from different cultures and walks of life. Exchanging our powerful desire for exploration and discovering. Basically, family heritage is European-Afro-Brazilian.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge fan of Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Pink Floyd, Jazz and Brazilian Bossa Nova and conflates of both, Brazilian and Argentina Rock from South to North.

I like alternative kinds of music as well, you might also find me listen to some classics, particularly in this metamorphose moment of my life I found in Prokofiev a profound and intriguing connection, perhaps this is the result of the 3.0 approaching me fast. Love Salvador Dalí.

Usually my musical taste is embody in a variety of Brazilian, British and American artists... Please help me exploring other tastes, I've been trying something new...

Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a volunteer for education in Brazil and I am very proud and happy to see the positive impact of my contributions in teenagers and their family life. We can talk for days about this project which has been supported by our partners in Russia, Netherlands, USA, UK ... waiting for more contributors around the world.

From travelling experiences the list is huge but there you go just one example outside Europe, in 2011 I was backpacking in South America basically by bus and walking hahaha... Unftly I got sick with 42Celcius fever and despite of that we decided to keep walking uninterruptedly during 3 days (without sleeping bag just following the stars) to cross the boarder from Bolivia to Peru, just me and my cousin on coca leaves and sleeping inside the Amazon forest under have storms and raining, having our wet clothes as a warm linen. Afterwards we approached Machu Picchu albeit all the challenges ... It was awesome! We had such an uplifting experience. Actually, I was waiting for this moment since childhood.

Teach, Learn, Share

Portuguese, English, some Guitar chords, Brazilian and Latin America History from Political to Musical points of view, Meditation ( I can guide) ... Let's cook together and go for a long walk or hiking. Space exploration and colonization of new worlds. The Universe. Energy and its transfer well beyond a scientific pedantic view.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enjoyable moments talking about history, travelling, music. Let's play Bossa Nova together I can bring my guitar. Teaching Brazilian Portuguese or English ( I can help you out if you're preparing for international exams, I am not a teacher/native speaker I am just an enthusiast), hanging out, going out for a drink... chilling ... I am kind, tidy and always up to help out! I can also give nice scientific tips and hints for a successful academic life if you are a Master of PhD student.
