About Me

Hey! This is Alisson from Peru, an university student living in Seoul. I consider myself as an extrovert, really organized, methodic, open-minded, and caring person. I enjoy road trips, love dancing and listening to different kind of music, taking tooons of pictures, night talks and smart discussions about cultures and world politics.

Currently, I am double majoring in Biotechnology and International Studies at Korea University, and I mostly visit countries due to academic reasons, and of course besides books and conferences, I usually take couple of day to see the beauty of the country. Yeah!! I am still awaiting and dreaming to travel around the world!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically to explore the world through local people!!

Had tried doing solo when I was in Macao, and although it was an unique life-time experience, at some point I found it boring cause obviously I was alone hahahaha. So just decided to try out couch-surfing as a way to meet new people, learn from them, and discover the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Have no specific taste, I listen to everything, but if you were to ask me which beats I prefer the most, I would say African and Latino beats.
When traveling I usually listen to Celtic songs, and wind instruments.

Movies:
I am more into documentaries, action movies with a historical background, or based in real life.

Books:
For now my favorite writer is Khaled Hosseini, I am in love how he depicts the past and current situation of Afghanistan, but most of my time I spend it reading International studies and human rights books because of school.
