Overview
About Me
Please read my whole profile before requesting to stay. I'm originally from Worcestershire in England but I moved to Malta 10 years ago to chase my dream of becoming an airline pilot. That didn't quite workout as hoped so I'm currently working in the iGaming industry as a Key Account Manager and studying at European Pilot Academy for my PPL. Also, personality type is ENTJ-A apparently.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing as some friends of mine said that it would be a great way for me to travel more and meet new people that have similar interests. We shall see. :-)
Interests
It goes without saying, I really enjoy flying. Apart from that, I enjoy going on adventure hikes, socialising, travelling, meeting new people, banter, swimming, visiting the gym and getting drunk whenever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm quite flexible when it comes to music, I can listen to anything. That being said, my favourite band is Enter Shikari. I'd say I'm a die-hard fan. Filmwise, I'm quite partial to horror films so long as they're not shit as well as disaster films, comedy and fantasy. Books... Well, I enjoy reading autobiographies, although any free time that I have to read is now spent reading coursebooks for my studies as a pilot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once managed to run the Malta Half Marathon within the allotted time despite doing no training and being mildly hungover.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you good swearwords in the Queen's English. I'll learn whatever I can and I'm happy to share most of what I have. One other thing that's important, as I want to make sure I'm getting genuine requests from people that actually read my profile and don't just want a free hotel room. When you message me with a request to stay, start your message with the word 'Slipshod'. Also, I can't host people for more than 4 nights, so please don't request more than that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer you a very nice bottle of wine (did a sommelier course once). A nice English meal (they do exist). Dinner at a restaurant of your recommendation. Funny stories. Long conversations. A good night out coupled with drunken fun and shenanigans.
