About Me
'Man is the measure of all things.'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Each moment of our lives changes us. If we vary our experience then we are always learning and expanding our mind. Couchsurfing seems like a good way to facilitate a life of varied experiences!
Interests
I enjoy Art very much and I am, I guess, an amateur artist myself occasionally! Whilst traveling I like to sketch and paint with watercolours.
I like to stay fit. Lots of running, cycling, sports when I get the chance to play, any will do! Although I am not interested in watching sports.
I like the great outdoors and I am always prepared to go hiking and camping.
Mountain biking and skiing I really enjoy and would love to do more!
Food of course! I am an average cook, I can follow a recipe no problem or I can improvise something, often with mixed results!
Actually I would say that I am interested to one degree or another in everything. In my experience the more you learn about something the more interesting it becomes, the more you appreciate it and the more you realise how much more there is to learn!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to read, novels and non-fiction equally. I am currently enjoying philosophical novels, like from writers such as Albert Camus and Dostoyevski. In the past I have really enjoyed SciFi and fantasy novels (eg. P.F Hamilton, G. R. Martin). But I have read a lot of different things ranging from Physics books to ancient religious texts and will give anything a try.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach music, specifically the bass guitar to a high level (but I don't have one with me!). Basic guitar. Music theory (jazz).
