ABOUT ME

I'm Alistair, I love travelling, have been around 5 continents already, and love meeting different people and cultures. My PhD research is on autism rights, I want to do further advocacy in this field once I finish my PhD, it is something I feel very strongly about.

I am still new to Couch Surfing, but the idea is cool, and hope to meet new people and see new places this way, and also help other people do this :)

Interests

Travelling is my main interest, apart from that I am involved in NGO work, mainly organising events dealing with human rights. It's all about cultures and people! I also love jazz music and love going to the movies - and hanging out in general :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most exotic - Indonesia: I loved Bali and Papua, amazing places, amazing feeling. Still, I think the greatest thing about travelling is the people you meet - the hospitality I've received from CSers was amazing, it's always great to discover a place with a local, it's not just about sightseeing, it's about living the whole experience of the place and seeing it through the local's eyes - whether I'm travelling or hosting.
