ABOUT ME
I am (currently) a 24 year old guy who spent the first 23 years of his life growing up in NZ.
I spent 6 years studying computer science at The University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand and the moment I got done with my thesis I took off to Wellington for a six month internship. That out of the way, I made good on almost a decade of dreams and made my way to the US to travel and experience it all. I got to the US by way of the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Hong Kong and Taiwan. A little bit circuitous, I know, but a great time nonetheless!
I'm currently spending a couple of months (out of the 12 that my visa allows me) driving all the way around the US. By the time I'm done with this trip I will have clocked up nearly 20,000 road miles and it might just be time to try and find a job to pay for all this traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
Why do I love my life? Because the alternative is far less interesting...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a diverse array of surfers back when I actually had a place to call home in Hamilton, NZ (seems like forever ago now).
Now, I am one of the surfers myself and would absolutely love to meet *you* and be regaled with tales from *your* life, along with sharing some of the fantastic things from mine.
Interests
Traveling, Meeting people, Drinking (ahem... water, of course...), All things too geeky to mention in such a cool forum (such as internet topology discovery), running, driving!, flying! (these two get a separate mention to traveling because I love them so much), listening to great music (my definition of great changes over time - at the moment it is much too eclectic to give justice in this space), oh and so much more - you'd better meet me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one? No, I refuse. I have so many things that putting just one implies that the others might be less amazing. You'll have to find out in person.
