Why does a question about yourself often seem the most challenging to answer? But here's a shot... Because of the socio-global challenges faced by the LGBTTTIQ+ community, I like to know that I am an openly gay man who is comfortable and proud of who he is if only to be seen as a gay man or, more respectfully, as just another human being. It's no intention of mine to make anyone uncomfortable, though there are moments that I/we may come across someone who is not comfortable around persons who are not of their orientation, so I prefer it known so you can either feel comfortable in my space or communicate with me.

Outside of this, I have experienced so much in life within my three decades that my expectations are low, and I am open to simply enjoying whatever else there is to be experienced or witnessed. Life has so many glories; why not just allow yourself to embrace what happens there and then without expectation?

My simple pleasures of life are spent being with my family and friends, watching (repeated) series versus movies, banging out to some pop, soca, reggeaton and rock music, and indulging in my guilty pleasure of karaoke—either solo or with whoever wants to join along.

There is one thing about me, though... I often come across as an introvert - and there is some truth to it; I am. Once I feel comfortable, the small extroverted side of me emerges, and I'll sometimes yap away :-D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first joined Couchsurfing, I intended that on my travels, I would take the opportunity to meet more people, create new bonds with people across the world, share experiences, and grow, and that still remains the same. Getting to know new people just gives me a brighter smile to enjoy.

Interests

I am passionate about a variety of activities that enrich both his creative side and his cultural curiosity. He enjoys painting, capturing spontaneous inspirations on canvas, and indulges in solo karaoke sessions, embracing the fun of performing alone. My favourite films include "The Devil Wears Prada," "The Fifth Element," and "The Princess Diaries." At the same time, "Grey's Anatomy" tops his TV series list, showing a preference for stylish, imaginative, and character-driven stories. Musically, I am interested in pop, soca, Spanish, and reggaeton. I'm keen on swimming, finding joy and relaxation in the water, whether he's playfully splashing or soaking in tranquillity. I love travel and am particularly interested in exploring Spanish-speaking countries, despite his need to brush up on his Spanish skills. I am especially drawn to Spanish culture, aspiring to experience Spain profoundly and repeatedly, aiming to live fully and embrace all aspects of its rich cultural tapestry.
