About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people, and to discover Europe.

ABOUT ME

I'm a young, enthusiastic, easygoing guy on his first lone trip in Europe, hoping to wander around, see some exciting things, meet some excitable people, and learn a whole lot about myself and the world around me.

I love nothing more than to learn about the different way we all experience our lives, and to share my own specific perceptions and outlook.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new to Couch Surfing, but I've heard so many good things from many close friends, and i must admit the idea just seems a bit too good to be true. It restores a lot of my faith in humanity to know that there are so many people out there who are keen to get on with one another, trust each other, help each other out, and just generally have a good time!

Interests

I love travelling. I think the feeling of actually seeing for the first time those places that I'd only ever read about in books is pretty amazing. I love learning about and talking about the history and stories that surround specific towns, cities and regions. And I love the differences in culture that can be felt between every place I visit.

I'm really quite interested in philosophy, and I'm lucky enough to study it at university. However, I still don't feel at all qualified to make any kind of statement about anything, but I think that's the joy of it. I love discussing with anyone who's ever really thought about troubling things for the sake of being perplexed.

I'm really interested in music, but mostly to the extent that I love listening to it and talking about it. I only play guitar, and very badly at that, due to a complete lack of musical education, but there's nothing like sitting around in a group listening to someone strumming out a tune, or going to a bar for some live music.

I'm certainly interested in drinking and eating, both in ample quantities
