About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore more! Meet new people. Try new hobbies. Make good vibes. Make a difference.
ABOUT ME
Hello everyone,
I grew up in Gönen, a small town in Turkey. Regardless of the old and the young, bicycles are widely used in this district, which has a flat geographical structure. I became a cyclist, a bicycle lover, as I witnessed people using bicycles as a vehicle. I completed my academic education by graduating from the Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University (ITU). During my University years, I was a member of the ITU mountaineering club and ITU cycling club, I still am.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe diem.
What goes around comes around
I love all of you guys!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Exploring new places, starting new hobbies, and all the new things which I learn make my life more exciting! Doing these things with new people, oh I can say that it is another level. Staying in a hotel or hostel during our trip abroad becomes an obstacle to fully understanding the culture and life in that country. Doing activities with local people, staying as guests in their homes, or hosting people in your home help you to feel their culture and lifestyle much better.
Interests
I want to make yoga a habit I do in the morning. I would like to try to do yoga with you guys. You can teach me moves and tips.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like science fiction movies. // Lord of The Rings, Interstellar,
I like fantasy movies and TV series. // Marvel and DC film and tv series.
I watch all types of films except horror movies. But films need to be produced with creativity and have at least a 6.5 IMDb score.
I don't have any favorite music or music type, I listen to all the music that I like.
Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. I am not a reader guy, ı like watching documentaries, youtube, and Netflix. But, ı try to change that habit.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1000km+ bike tour in Turkey, from İstanbul to Aydın by the following seacoast.
Rafting in Saklıkent canyon without a boat in 5-celsius degree water. :D
Camped for 5 days in Anti-Taurus (Aladağlar) Mountains to finish ITU mountaineering club's winter technique training in harsh weather conditions (-20,0 Celcius degree)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an open-minded person. We can learn our native culture from each other. I am a good listener and I would like to hear different stories about your own culture. I can teach how to make traditional Turkish coffee and tea. Also, we can try traditional Turkish food.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share experiences, memories, and stories and ı think it is far more valuable than anything.
