I decided to do a world trip without using airplanes. In February I hitchhiked by sailboat from Spain to the Caribbean to now travel to Southamerica.
Everything that wakes me up and tickles me is part of my life; including art, music from everywhere, cultures, unknown places, interesting people, nature, todo.
Don't think I'm too serious, my biggest hobby is to laugh and be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Seems like Couchsurfing is a countermovement to the conventional tourism - thanks fot that !
To visit a unknown country for me means to get to know cultures, locals, nature, ways of living, traditions, street food; ... in a deeper way than rush from a touristic place to another.

Music, Movies, and Books

I honestly appreciate all kind of music.
Especially music from the 70's from south africa or brazil is pretty awesome.
Currently I listen to Nap Eyes, Fox Academy, Modest Mouse, Dope Lemon, Khruangbin, The Howling Wolf, Camel Power Club, Charles Bradley, Black Pumas, Thundercat, ...

I love movies from Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino.
But also childrenmovies as Horton hears a Who! (the way they show us, how small our planet could appear for other species ?! So cool .. )

Erich Fromm really touched me. I like the way he questions our society and finds ideas to enhance our social life is inspiring.
Besides philosophy i'm attracted to Picture Books with photography, art or biological drawings as one from Ernst Haeckel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me my life is full of amazing experieces.
Unexpected meetings, heart touching talks, mindblowing landscapes, endless nights
and I'm always excited what happens next :)
