About Me

I am very dynamic, very happy and helpful.

I love culture, history and nature.

I also love latin music, good wine, fruity olive oil, riding bicycle, hearing live music, jogging, chatting in good company, tiny authentic streets, flowers, fresh bread with butter, walking bare foots, sea food, art exhibitions, learning and speaking foreign languages, listening to other people's narratives...

My father is from Marseille (south of France), so I have this romantic, agitated, spontaneous and strong personality - I think it's in my blood. Now that I am living since two years and a half in Germany, it's perfect, because it's compensated with this german rationality and practical way of thinking and acting. I like the mixture.

Though I love meeting with friends and new people, I am not really a party girl. I sometimes go to clubs, but it's very rare. I like sports, visitying, meeting new people, discovering the world.

I like sharing experiences and opinions with people I meet, and I enjoy walking in the streets of a city, all day long, to discover its treasures.

I am open minded and respectful. I don't smoke, but don't mind people around me smoking.

:-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I think the experience of meeting local people, who can share their way of living, their experiences, give some tips, or even show you places they love is much more exciting and worth than to stay at a hotel or hostels and follow your Lonely Planet Gide. It is NOT a lonely planet! ;-)

Afterwards, I sometimes host the people I stayed at in Germany, so that they become friends. It's really nice!

I am very curious about culture, and architecture, and read a lot, but human relations are also very important to me.

Interests

I like jogging, love breakfasts (best part of my day!), like spending time with my family and friends, like old good movies, world food, visiting new places in the world, Arts (museums, especially Fine Arts), nature and litterature. When I go to a country I love learning some words, I try to keep a small diary of the words I have learned each day. Years later, you look at them and you're like : "Oh yes, that's true...!"

And lately: trekking, wandering and I am starting to climb!
I am living one hour from the Alps, in Munich, so every chance I get I go there and discover new trails.
If you feel like you are at home in the mountains, I guess we should meet!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open minded as far as movies are concerned and love to discover movies: Bollywood, oldies, Nouvelle Vague...

For books, I like Yasmina Khadra (Ce que le jour doit a la nuit, or Les hirondelles de Kaboul), Victor Hugo (Les Miserables is my favorite), Milan Kundera, Paul Auster, Colette, Marguerite Duras, Nathalie Sarraute, Thomas Mann...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived studying industrial engineering in Germany ha ha

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to learn the language when I travel in a country, maybe get to know local movies, local music, or just the ones my host likes

Love to teach French to my hosts/guests - may it be the language or elements of our history and culture

Share: cooking (I can cook some french Crêpes!), sport (we could jogg together in the morning), dancing, chatting, drinking wine, discovering the city - I am very flexible and independent, no worries !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travelling experiences, chat on many subjects: beauty, movies, literature, arts, architecture, food, friendship, love, nature, trips... I love to talk to people about were they are from, what is their story, what are their projects, where they have been to...

I am helpful and always happy.
