I am 27 years old, from Fribourg, Switzerland. One of my passions is traveling and the best way to do this for me is to travel while making new experiences in different fields and learning from people all around the world, learning about new cultures and mentalities.

You can always count me in for an adventure or to observe beautiful landscapes in silence.

I am a very open-minded person, I am creative and eager to learn from locals. I love making art, painting, photography, meeting new, interesting people from different cultures than the ones I already know. I love observing the nature and taking care of animals (not insects though). Probably one of the biggest dog lovers around :D

One important thing to me is to be able to make some art during my travels.

I enjoy experiencing the simpler things in life and am keen to learn how to live more sustainably and learn about permaculture during my travels.

I would love to get involved in the community I will travel to, get to know the local people and their habits, learn some of their language and eat local vegetarian dishes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think being on couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet new people and to experience how locals live in the touristy places of our Earth. I also love knowing people around the planet and not only in my small country :) I think it is the one easy way to make the world a better place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year abroad living with a host family in San Diego, California and going to High School! It was a very enriching experience.
I also went on a 10 day roadtrip through California and Arizona, camping in the most incredible places, experiencing a totally new way of traveling!
Another trip I went on was to the Dominican Republic, where I backpacked for a month visiting the whole island and the most remote places I have ever been to.
This trip made me fall in love with Latin America and I therefore went back to Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
But the travel that has changed my life and opened my eyes, was when I went to India for the first time in 2019. I keep going back now :)

I can speak french, (swiss) German and some italian to you if you'd like to learn :) I can teach you Macramé (knotting technique for jewelry).
I can teach you basic Bachata and Salsa steps (I'm no professional but I love to dance)
