About Me

ABOUT ME

I am fairly easy to get along with. A little restless perhaps, but that often works to the advantage of my fellow travelers as they never miss their trains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling, and some of the most beautiful travel experiences I have had were with locals, since I could explore places a guide book would never touch upon. Couchsurfing provides me with the privilege of getting in touch with locals and seeing their city/village with them.

Interests

Music. I play the piano and listen to Indian Classical Music and sometime soft rock. I spend most of my time reading or talking to people about cultures, societies and traditions. I like to read and discuss poetry, and stargaze sometimes. I really like writing and receiving letters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing at the edge of Europe at Koenigstuhl in Germany, with the immensity of the Baltic sea making me feel like a minuscule twig on the floor of the planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people languages I know, try to answer questions about science, technology and education, and give people a sure pen pal to write and receive postcards!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Talk.
Indian tea, when I have it.
A pen pal.
Indian cuisine.
