About Me

~Traveling allows you to become so many different versions of yourself.~

Social, open, excited, positive, enthusiastic.

My take on traveling: I like to experience new places from the perspective of a local, discover new kinds of people and ways of living. If I wanted everything that I'm used to, I might as well stay home!

I'm an economist specialized in tourism with a strong interest in traveling and catering (understandably😁). Now I'm doing my master's degree in corporate management.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the opportunity to visit a new place and see it from the perspective of the people who live here, not just superficially as a tourist. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to do exactly that, while meeting new and interesting people! I've been to many countries and have quite a lot of travel experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just a few of my favorite musicians: Foster the People, John Mayer, The Lumineers, Rolling Stones, The Creedence Clearwater Revival

I also love classical music (I can play the violin btw), my favourite piece is Symphony No. 7 from Beethoven.

When it comes to movies I tend to love a strong story line, interesting characters or a dense atmosphere over raw action. For instance I love The King’s speech, Interstellar, Ocean's 11 or Knives Out, but I loved Deadpool as well:)

Although I haven't read a lot of books lately, some I enjoyed are The Catcher in the Rye and Le Petit Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sailed on the Adriatic Sea eight summer straight.

In 2022 I did a 3 weeks long roadtip to the Balkans: 6 countries in 19 days.

I've founded a university organization that deals with tourism. It is now a large and supportive community.
I'm actually quite proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always up for all sorts of fun activities, whether it's going out to a bar/club or staying home having our own party, taking a trip to somewhere interesting or just going for a walk to explore the area - count me in!

I'm also happy to cook a meal for my hosts (or with them), go out and spend some time together. I will easily offer a gift, making a dinner, or some souvenir from my country, Hungary... Or I can offer to clean the kitchen or the bathroom.

What's your passion? I'd love to hear about it! That's what Couchsurfing is about for me: Experiences. Sharing old ones as well as creating new ones.

I'll be happy if I get some informations about the places I must see, specially those which are not described in the guide book😁

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a good sense of humour (in my opinion :D ), I can cook anything for you or help you with housework. I can also teach you Hungarian (useful haha) and we can talk about the big things in life.

I have a nice flat in Budapest (we're renovating at the moment) in such a beautiful environment that I'd like to share in the future! I always enjoy having guests, especially from other parts of the world, hanging out with them and hearing their stories.
