I’m an American whose been living abroad for over a year! I moved to New Zealand in September 2018 and I’ve been traveling through Southeast Asia since September this year. I love meeting new people and trying new things, even if I’m a little shy at first. I love to run, read, write, and (attempt to) draw, and of course, eat. I laugh loud and a lot, and I’m almost always smiling. I’ve done a lot of work with disabled people, and helping people is a passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve been traveling for almost 2 months, and I’m starting to look for more of an authentic experience. I love meeting other travelers, but I’m sick of being a tourist. I would love to meet people living in an area and have recommendations that aren’t just something to check off a list. And I love hearing other people’s stories - share yours with me!

I ran a full marathon in New Zealand, gotta say I thought that was pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ve been trying to get more into mediation after completing a mediation course at a temple in Chiang Mai, but I’ve been having trouble finding the time. If that’s something you’re into, would love advice on making it more permanent in my life! I’m also getting really into card games, if anyone is up for a few games :)
