I am Alja, a dancer from a rather small country called Slovenia. As a person with hundreds of different interests in life I like to challenge myself on a daily basis. That goes for my bachelor degree in French language and Comparative literature, working as a sales assistant, visual merchandiser and waitress, on to sewing and so on.
But in all that, there has always been a strong passion for dance as an art form and performing. Trained and worked in Italy in Bologna and now back home developing my own project, In march I have co-found an Association of Arts and Culture in my home town with a desire to build a local community by offering movement based workshops and meanwhile build an international alliances. I am now for quite some years teaching also children how to dance. A part of me still wants to travel around and explore and connect.
