About Me

Curious about life and always eager to learn new things (be it a new language, random trivia or exploring a new music genre)! I enjoy being in nature, a good movie/book/play/concert, good food and long late night conversations about life, the universe and everything! ;)

I like to think of myself as an open minded person and I have very little tolerance for racism, homophobia and sexism. I don't really like extremes, I try to avoid black-and-white thinking and I truly believe that balance is the key to most things.

I am a bit shy and may seem unapproachable when I first meet someone. Truth is I am a bit socially awkward but I really enjoy getting to know people. So feel free to "annoy" me as much as you want and know that I'm open to all sorts of discussions.

I'm a biologist, so I know a lot of seemingly useless (and some not-useless-at-all) facts about animals and the environment. Generally, I'm all for Science and reason but I also value empathy as a trait of utmost importance.

I am interested in a veeery broad range of things. Lately, I've been very into Psychology. Having been through psychotherapy for some time, I'm constantly being amazed by the potential for change each one of us is able to achieve and I always strive towards continually growing and evolving as a person.
I'm always open to new experiences and to people's different perspectives of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like everyone else on here, I obviously love to travel! I've promised myself that whatever happens, I will always find the time and a way to travel somewhere new each year, explore new places and cultures. And of course, the best way to get to know a place, is to get to know the locals!

Unfortunately, for the time being, I don't have my own place and I am unable to host people. However, as soon as I manage to move out and have my own space, I'm gonna make sure there will always be a place for other surfers!
