About Me

I am a student doing my Master in Transcultural studies in beautiful Heidelberg. Since early childhood I had a dream to come and live at least a little bit in Germany, because I was always fascinated by the language, culture and, well, mentality of the German people, at least from what I've learned about it while studying German at the University in Russia. And now my dream came true, I have been living and studying in Heidelberg for 1,5 years, where to my surprise I learned a lot about many other cultures rather that just German. This time in Heidelberg made me even more curious about learning the other cultures, with my interests spreading vider to the point that I am trying to learn Japanese and Arabic languages :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kind of music from classics to metal, but mostly indie or alternative. So it is also with books - I read both undying masterpieces of world's classic and some satire.I also try to read more in foreign languages, although I know that I'm happy to read in original such great authors as Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Chekhov and Bulgakov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

taught cyrillic alphabet to foreigners :D
