Overview
About Me
I love to cook! It's how I show people I care and how I learn from others. I would rather sit at a table with strangers to talk and eat than just about any other activity. I'm also a huge fan of travel and have finally been able to carve out some time for myself to do so. I mostly travel solo, because I don't do iteneraries and my plans are always fluid. I'm basically a less affluent Anthony Bourdain.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to be immersed in the people and the culture everywhere I travel. I want to find the local hang outs, events, food, and drinks! I find that the more I learn about other people and places, the better I get as a person.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't seem to grow out of punk rock, it will always be my favorite but I love all music. Especially live music.
I enjoy all kinds of movies and watch them frequently.
I've recently started listening to audiobooks. I grew up reading everything I could get my hands on. (I was caught more than once as a child up late with a flashlight and reading the dictionary). I lost touch with reading as life got busier and finally embraced audiobooks so I could get back to enjoying books. I enjoy non-stop fiction mostly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I started my business I had the opportunity to work from home almost exclusively. That (and a real open schedule the first year or so) allowed me to also play the role of stay at home dad. It was amazing and changed the way I manage and schedule my workload.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm the self proclaimed "Tech Ambassador" for my IT business. I love to teach and share my knowledge of technology.
