Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m a proud Kiwi from New Zealand, where the sheep outnumber the people. I've been travelling all over the world in the Pacific, and South America and I’ve made my way to Europe, eager to dive into new cultures and make connections that feel like home away from home.
I’m all about sharing stories, laughs, and a bit of our Kiwi culture. Whether it’s teaching you how to cook a mean pavlova, explaining why everything is ‘bro,’ or sharing the Māori culture that makes New Zealand so special, I’m here to make every moment memorable. I’m respectful, curious, and always up for a new adventure or a good chat.
Hosting me means more than just opening your door; it’s welcoming a bit of the Southern Hemisphere’s charm into your life. Let’s create memories, share a laugh, and make the world feel just a little smaller one couch at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because there’s no better way to truly experience the heart of a place than through its people. Coming from New Zealand, a beautiful but far-flung corner of the world, I’ve learned that the best part of travel isn’t just the sights, it’s the connections. I’m here to share my stories, hear yours, and swap a bit of my Kiwi culture for yours.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a music lover through and through, with tastes that range from the soulful classics of Johnny Cash to the chill vibes of Jack Johnson, the timeless tunes of The Beatles, and the anthems of Coldplay. When it comes to movies, I’m all in for anything from mind-bending thrillers like Shutter Island to epic sagas like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I’m just as happy watching the rebellious spirit of Fight Club as I am enjoying the hilarious antics of Shrek and Ice Age.
In terms of books, I love getting lost in the adventurous worlds of Wilbur Smith, the gripping twists of John Grisham, and the thrilling action of Jack Reacher novels. The Hunger Games series and Gone Girl are right up there on my list, but honestly, if it’s got a good plot and memorable characters, I’m in. I’m always exploring new genres, so my shelves are packed with a bit of everything!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was embarking on the 5-day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu in Peru. It was an incredible journey through breathtaking mountain landscapes, high-altitude passes, and lush jungles, all leading to the awe-inspiring ancient city of the Incas.
