I’m Allan, a french traveler! I used to be an art student, and I’m soon to be a Specialised Educator! I love to discover new places and new human beings, I even love to get lost in a city I don’t know. I love to discuss about various things, give a helping hand, play kazoo, and share knowledge and experiences!

I’m someone who loves to talk for hours about life, about what people are passionate about, what they love, what they dream about. I think we, human beings, have a lot in common, despite our many differences, even coming from different cultures, or having a different native languages or even different points of view. As long as we’re available for new experiences, open to learn new things, comfortable with emotions, we can connect with anyone. I learned that through the different encounters I had during my last trip, and I want to pursue on this journey because I think we can learn a lot about ourselves by learning about others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing since I started a journey to Spain by hitchhiking with my friend Elsa, hoping to meet locals wherever I go, to see how they live and experience life, and share good moments with them. Also, it is a good way to meet people and a good alternative to hostels for example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Iceland for one month was really something. I love to go to places that are different from what I see in my daily life!
Also my trip with my friend Elsa to Spain, which has given us the opportunity to discover #SporesHomes and many great people from all over the world!
And now my new trip : hitchhiking through France to go meet my father in Brittany!

I can teach crochet, how to make a handcrafted sketch/notebook, French and a few words in Spanish, Russian, Icelandic, Chinese and Turkish!
I’d love to learn more in these languages by the way, and many others, such as Portuguese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to share experiences, aspirations, inspirations, ideas, points of view. I love to discover a city through the eyes of local people. I like to wash the dishes (that’s weirdly true hahah), I’m always kin to help for anything!
