ABOUT ME

I did Teach for America in Los Angeles and taught English to amazing groups of 9th and 8th graders for four years. Once that was over, I was eager for a new adventure--which is why I moved to the DR! I am still teaching, now to little Dominicans in San Pedro de Macoris. I live very near the beach in Juan Dolio, but I find myself traveling to the capital or to San Pedro often for work. I will be here for about a year and I plan to make great friends and great memories in the meantime!

I want to couch surf and host others, too. My apartment is pretty spacious and has an extra bed!
