About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To lessen my travel fever for the time being, so I can get settled and make something of myself!

ABOUT ME

A little bit shy, completely openminded, slightly neurotic, clumsy as anything, a total nerd at times, struck by travel fever always...

PHILOSOPHY

"You have only to spin around at frightening velocity and steer clear of the furniture." -Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though I am living with my parents right now, once I am settled into my place in Ottawa or Montreal (sometime in September 2009) I would be more that happy to host anyone coming through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't officially couch surfed thus, I am awaiting my first experience to make a judgement.

Interests

I am a writer first a foremost. There is never a time I will be found without a writing instrument of some sort. I am a coffee junkie (which is awful, but it cannot be helped), but will settle for tea on most occasions. I've always had a keen interest in music, although I am in no way musically inclined.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my visit to Cuba, I ended up staying in a town called Guardalavaca. The most incredible part of the whole trip for me, was meeting the local people and seeing them in everyday life. We met farmers that gave us stocks of sugarcane to try, fresh bananas whatever else we wanted to try. The women were so welcoming, offering to make us meals and bring us into their home. It was an amazing experience.
