About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn a popular folk song for each country I visit.

ABOUT ME

I'm an enthusiastic person who will always try to help others with empathy, to understand what he/she might need or think about. In general, I care about everyone's feeling. Sometimes I even could sacrifice myself to fulfill most of the people.

Recently, I'm doing a personal project that I try to make videos all around the Europe with my ukulele. Search "UkuLeeLee" on YouTube and you'll find me.

PHILOSOPHY

"Music is the language without nationality."

And I appreciate the way how Benny Lewis lives his life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was inspired by two of my friends in Belgium. They both have many CS experiences and introduce me some activities held in Brussels so that I can attend and meet some CS friends from everywhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think some common interests between the host and the surfer are necessary. In this case, they may exchange ideas, technics and experiences. Then they will both be better off and learn new things.

Interests

When I walk on the street, I like to observe other people and guess what they're doing and thinking. I also enjoy sitting in a park and looking at some children or animals. They are so innocent that I could even be affected by their happiness.

I love music and movie. So I usually play my ukulele to express my emotion and share with people. And I like to understand a country by watching its movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm going to tell two interesting things which both happened in the period of my Erasmus in Belgium.

The first one is playing ukulele with a busker on the street unexpectedly! One day I was hanging out near "La Grand Place" in Brussels, and I saw a busker playing ukulele. I was curious so I went to him and chatted with him. Then he give me a chance to perform in front of lots of people. This is my first time as being a busker. Luckily, I won those audiences' applause and even MONEY!!!

The second one is the Zombie Walk in Gent. There was an activity held by DOK. People made up and decorated themselves as zombies, and walked around in the city! I think I was the only Taiwanese (or even Asian) zombie in this crazy & funny activity.
