I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, and really love living there. It should be on everyone list of place to live at some stage.

Just got back from traveling around Nth America, mostly in Canada on a Two Year Work Holiday. Spent the most time living Montreal, enjoying what tgat city has to offer, and trying to learn some conversational french while I was there.

Now that I'm back I want to spend a bit of time discovering my own city, state and country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing offers a great opportunity to meet people from different cities, and see that city through the eyes of a local in a really short time frame.

Couchsurfing also offers a great resource for not only Hosting or Staying with people, but also connecting, attending events and receiving local advice

I have couch-surfed before with a friend, and most recently my girlfriend, and I have always had such positive experiences.

Interests

Most of my hobbies are based outdoors; I enjoy physical activities like hiking, rock climbing and kayaking. I'm up for nearly any challenge and am keen to learn some new skills throughout my travels. Recently, I tried some Acrobatics lessons in Hawaii and Learned ecological building methods in Ontario.

I also enjoy social dancing (mostly Latin) such as Kizomba, Zouk and Salsa, and have some experience with Swing and Blues as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy music I can dance to; I really don't mind if I don't know the artist or even the language spoken. I am a fan of documentaries, but I also enjoy sitting down to a good Hollywood movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling with a couple of friends around North America for a couple of months was one of the best experiences in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very practical, with good hands on skills. I enjoy repairing broken or damages items so that they are usable. I also enjoy teaching these skills to others, sharing my knowledge and passing along new skills.
