I have couchsurfed in Scotland and used it alot when I went hitch hiking around europe last year.
I love the couch surfing ethos of treating total strangers like your best mates. It gives you a window into other peoples lives and allows you to get real view of the culture of your destination.

I listen to music pretty much all the time.... although my music listening has got a little old so am really needing to be shown new stuff....
