ABOUT ME

I get itchy feet- I try to travel every month, although at the moment I just started a new job so should be able to host more ;)
I've done everything from train people in Moldova to Malta to Armenia, and travelled from Saudi Arabia to China and back. But there's always more to see!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to try and be happy and make the world a nicer place. Sounds tacky, but it's served me well, from silly jokes to serious work, but if karma exists I should do ok :)
Oh, and I try to visit at least 2 new countries a year :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a small flat, but the sofa is a double sofa bed, not the most comfortable, but it is usable :) so might help people out in their travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted friends in the past, and been hosted by them, so I guess this felt like the natural extension. I hear more and more stories, all positive and some funny, but how else to experience :D
(Hosted my first people now :) !!!)
PLEASE PLEASE ensure that you respond to an offer/my response to host ASAP as I know that near to London there can be a LOT of demand and it's not fair on others.

I love learning about cultures, helping people and getting involved. I'll warn you that if you visit I'll probably want to chat and learn about you and where you're from or share a story :)

I watch a lot of stuff from Sci-Fi to Phineas and Furb, and listen to what ever I can. My phone alarms include Albanian, Estonian and Russian at the moment...
Sadly don't get to read so much anymore :(

I've done many things, and some random madness, from rafting in Bosnian mountains to travelling Chinese deserts.
But I think giving blood is the important one- it costs me nothing but might save a life.

Hmm, I have taught desktop publishing through to democracy and election campaign techniques..
I used to teach martial arts, I know some basic cooking skills, and always keen to always share knowledge.
