Throughout my life I have traveled quite a bit. My latest passion is to do so by biking, since I found it to be the perfect speed to discover new places. I also love the flexibility to reach certain places and the free choice of roads. I prefer to travel in nature and outdoors. I enjoy facing the new challenges every travel comes with and getting to know more tiny bits of the world. I also love how traveling makes me escape and dive into different worlds.

I am open-minded, interested in everything foreign and new, concerned about and kind with people. I am a very optimistic but rational person, good in organizing things - traits that help me lot to enjoy all my travels.

But most of the time I live a peaceful life in the southern suburbs of Vienna in a rather quiet neighborhood. I work as a teacher in a middle school trying to get some kids excited about the beauty of maths and natural sciences. I use the free time reading, exploring the surrounding hills by bike or building things for the flat in our workshop.
I live here together with Filip, my boyfriend (and often also travel companion). While we are at home we look forward to host travelers from time to time to bring the travel sparks into our every day life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think, the couchsurfing spirit is a great way of cultural exchange.
It is an opportunity to meet people and get an insight into cities, cultures, countries, people's habits in different places in the world, their ideas and opinions.

I have only surfed a few times before, but hope to gain plenty of more great experiences and meet many friendly people through Couchsurfing.
