I live my life to be a vessel for the music that comes through me. I am currently doing "The Work" of Byron Katie - questioning thoughts to out an end to unnecessary suffering.

Right now I am strictly focusing on the new album and setting up a tour.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite couch surfing experience was hosting a surfer who specifically chose our couch because he heard we had just gone through a flood (Viola Post Office Building - he found out about us because it made the front page of the Milwaukee State Journal.)

Interests

Snorkeling, hanging out with my sweet husband, writing songs, using my sign language skills, walking in the woods, drumming, singing, reading, conversing, writing essays, eating organic food, meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is no music that I cannot love..Ani Difranco, CSN&Y, Public Enemy, Joni Mitchell, Richard Thompson, Natty Nation, Beastie Boys, Tortoise, Classic House, The Flight of the Conchords...Sex Pistols, Johnny Cash.... I couldn't possibly list it all here. Movies don't stay in my mind. I enjoy films by Spike Lee, as well as Alfred Hitchcock & Woody Allen. Hmmmm..... Books....The Fifth Sacred Thing by Starhawk. 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck, The Alphabet versus the Goddess by Leonard Shlain. I used to be a used book dealer, so it's almost impossible to list books as there are too many! Anything by Robert Anton Wilson, Martha Beck, Carl Jung, and Byron Katie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have taught myself how to record and produce my music. My new album coming out by 2018 shows a way to bring love, compassion and joy back into your life through musical affirmations of self-love.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach any one some sign language, even a basic understanding of Deaf culture would be great. I have a general understanding about plants, permaculture, gardening, making tinctures for medicine, wild plant lore, etc. I would love to learn more from others! I would love to learn to cook new things, as there is little that is more important than food!
