Hello,

My name is Allen. I am an American who lives in the San Francisco Bay area of California. For my career, I am a teacher. I teach English to high school students. (both Americans and international students) I love traveling! I have been to about 13 or 14 countries so far but I want to visit many more. I love learning about countries and cultures. I lived in Asia for 10 years and really enjoyed my time there. I am a respectful person and I sincerely enjoy making new friends. I love talking to people and hearing their stories. I am hopeful to make some good friends here through this couch surfing program. Oh, I also enjoy volunteering to help students with their English while I am traveling.

I am on couch surfing in the hopes that I can make new international friendships. I want to learn about countries and cultures. In addition to seeing the tourist sites of a location, I want to learn about the lives of the local people so that I can understand their culture and see what the lives of the people are like.
