To expand my traveling to outside the United States, to experience beautiful places, amazing cultures, and wonderful people.

ABOUT ME

I am all about interactions. I want to learn everything I can about people. Conversations are my strong suit, the best nights of my life are sitting around with individuals, learning about why and who they are. With these conversations I have built some amazing relationships and became who I am because of them, I have always dreamed about traveling the world and experiencing different and vibrant cultures, to see beautiful and amazing things. It is time to fulfill that dream and I am extremely excited.

I am an avid outdoors man, my father took me camping or back packing every month he could growing up. I have grown up in the wonderful Northwest of the United States with rivers and mountains all around me. One of my main goals is to experience the different environments the world has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

That I hardly know anything and its my mission to learn and experience anything and everything I can. To learn from people with an open mind to achieve a greater understanding of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this site, but I want to jump in feet first. I am willing to host while I am still in Boise, and I plan on traveling for an extended period of time soon. Excited to meet amazing people!

Interests

Hiking, Camping, Mountain Biking, Boating, pretty much anything outdoors. Music, going to shows and watching talented people do what they are best at is always a treat. Going out and experiencing great and different food with great company. Walking around different cities and experiencing everything it has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy movies that are thrilling and thought provoking, favorites include Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, American History X, Good Will Hunting, Man on Fire, Fight Club, Fistful of Dollars, Unforgiven and End of Watch.

Reading books is a favorite past time of mine. I enjoy non-fiction, biographies and thought provoking novels. Favorites include No One Gets out of Here Alive, Fear and Loathing, Rum Dairy, The Auto Biography of Malcolm X, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, 1984, Of Mice and Men, Grapes of Wrath, Brave New World, Into the Wild.

I have eclectic taste in music. That includes Blues, Classic Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop, Reggae, Jazz, Ska, Punk, Indie. I am always on the hunt for that next great song or album. To many favorites to list!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on multiple 50 plus mile hikes but the one i'm most proud is a 100 mile hike I did with my father and some friends in New Mexico. I hope to keep adding to the list of hikes.
